Team Circularity is a team within Wageningen University and Research. The uses the three principles of a circular foodsystem as a starting point.
-> Safeguard natural resources;
-> Plant biomass should be used for food first;
-> By-products from food production, processing and consumption should be recycled back into the food system.

Martijn works during 2019 and 2020 in the team on new groundbreaking ideas which can lead to new initiatives for research, application on the countryside and on see and in the supply chains. Also he is responsible for establishing new connections to practicioners on circularity in the food foodsystem in the Southern region of the Netherland.
